Cmdr. Brett Robblee



CDR Robblee is a native of Orange County, California and a 2007 graduate of the United States Naval Academy (USNA) where he received his commission and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics. He graduated Naval Postgraduate School in March of 2014, with a Master's Degree in Operations Research and completed Phase 1 of his Joint Professional Military Education.

Following graduation from USNA, CDR Robblee was assigned to PCU STERETT (DDG 104) where he served as the Repair Officer and 1st Lieutenant. While assigned to STERETT, he participated in undocking, Commissioning and Final Contract Trials. FOr his second Division Officer tour, CDR Robblee served as Damage Control Assistant for MCM Crew Fearless where he completed two U.S. 5th Fleet Deployments and a Board of Inspection and Survey.

CDR Robblee's first Department Head tour was aboard USS STETHEM (DDG 63) as the Engineer Officer, homeported in Yokosuka, Japan. During his tour he completed numerous patrols, Engineering Operations Certification, a Board of Inspection and Survey and seven Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training Exercises. After leaving Japan, CDR Robblee served as Engineer Officer on USS PRINCETON (CG 59), the Air and Missile Defense Commander for Carrier Strike Group Eleven, completing a U.S. 5th Fleet Deployment in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, as well as two multinational exercises, Malabar 2017 and Tri-Carrier Operations with the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force and Republic of Korea Navy in the Sea of Japan.

Ashore, CDR Robblee served as the Section Head for Counter-C5ISR-T, Assessments Division (OPNAV N81) from 2018 to 2020, Deputy Director Readiness and Transition for the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Military Manpower and Personnel) 2020-2022, and Deputy DIrector of Future Operations and Plans for Commander, Second Fleet 2022-2023.

CDR Robblee has received various personal, unit and campaign awards.
