Master Chief Petty Officer Chad Elliott hails from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He enlisted in the Navy and attended Recruit Training Command in San Diego in September 1993.

Master Chief Elliott graduated Storekeeper (Logistics Specialist) “A” School in Meridian, Mississippi in February 1994.  In 2001, he was selected for transfer from the Active Component to the Training and Administration of the Reserve. 

His sea tours include USS Fletcher (DD 992), USS Curts (FFG 38), and STRKFITRON TWO ZERO ONE.  His shore assignments include Naval Security Group Activity Kunia, Hawaii; Navy Operational Support Center Des Moines, Iowa; Commander, Tactical Support Wing; Navy Expeditionary Logistics Support Group. His Command Master Chief tours include Military Entrance Processing Center, Milwaukee, Wisconsin and STRKFITRON TWO ZERO FOUR in Belle Chasse, Louisiana.

He currently serves as the Command Master Chief of Commander, Navy Expeditionary Logistics Support Group in Williamsburg, Virginia.

A 2014 graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy Blended Class – 55 (Silver) and Navy Enlisted Leadership Course, he was selected for the Command Master/Senior Chief Program in 2015 and for Master Chief Petty Officer in 2016.  Master Chief Elliott is a graduate of the University of Maryland – University College with a degree in Communications and holds a Master’s Degree in Sports Marketing and Management from Liberty University.

His numerous personal awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (four awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (seven awards) and various unit and campaign medals.
