Navy Expeditionary Warfighting Development Center (NEXWDC) develops and strengthens the U.S. Navy's expeditionary force.

Our Mission

 •  Train and support all Navy Expeditionary Combat Forces in threat doctrine, and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) at the advanced and combined level
 •  Develop, validate, standardize, publish, and revise Navy Expeditionary and Fleet-wide Force Protection Doctrine and Tactics
 •  Provide operational and Navy Expeditionary Combat Force subject matter expertise support to Naval Component Commanders, Numbered Fleet Commanders, and Combatant Commanders
 •  Support warfighting capabilities assessments to identify and mitigate Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities (DOTMLPF) capability gaps across expeditionary platforms and staffs
