Lt. Cmdr. Andrew Stitt
Lieutenant Commander Andrew Stitt is a native of Chandler, Arizona. He graduated from Arizona State University in May 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Lieutenant Commander Stitt was commissioned through Officer Candidate School in Newport, Rhode Island in October 2011. In 2022 he graduated with a Master of Business Administration from Naval Postgraduate School.
After graduating from Civil Engineer Corps Officer School (CECOS) in May 2012, Lieutenant Commander Stitt reported to NAVFAC Washington where he served as the Assistant Public Works Officer at the National Maritime Intelligence Center and Construction Manager at Resident Officer in Charge of Construction at Joint Base Andrews until May 2015. He then transferred to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Four where he served as a platoon commander, Detail Panay, Philippines OIC and Headquarters Company Commander. In June 2017 he was transferred to CECOS to serve as the Command Adjutant, responsible for the training, mentorship, and education for all newly commissioned Civil Engineer Corps Officers. In September 2019 Lieutenant Commander Stitt transferred to NAVFAC Pacific where he served as the Future Operations Officer responsible for integration with PACFLT and MARFORPAC and their subordinate units regarding NAVFAC’s support in the Indo-Pacific. Lieutenant Commander Stitt reported to Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms in January 2023 where he served as the Facilities Engineering and Acquisition Division Director.
Lieutenant Commander Stitt reported to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion ONE THREE THREE in May of 2024 to serve as the Executive Officer.
Lieutenant Commander Stitt is a qualified Seabee Combat Warfare Officer, Professional Engineer registered in Arizona, and member of the Defense Acquisition Corps. He holds certifications for DAWIA Contracting Professional, Public Works Level III, JPME I, and is a member of the Order of the Engineer. His personal decorations include the Navy Marine Corps Commendation Medal (four awards) and Navy Marine Corps Achievement Medal (two awards).
