Lt. Cmdr. Jason A. Clements


Lieutenant Commander Clements is a native of Milton, Florida and the son of a Master Chief Petty Officer. He enlisted in the Navy in 1992 and commissioned through the Direct Commission Officer Program in 2010. He is a 2007 graduate of The Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
 
After attending Recruit Training Command Orlando, Florida, LCDR Clements reported to EA “A” School in Gulfport, Mississippi. He then reported to Construction Battalion Unit 412 in 1992, where he deployed in support of Hurricane Andrew Recovery. In 1995 he reported to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 74 with deployments to: Okinawa, Japan (x2), Key West, FL, and Port Au Prince, Haiti in support of Operation Fair Winds.
 
 
After receiving his commission in 2010, LCDR Clements reported to NMCB FOURTEEN where he held several positions including Engineering Officer, Embark Officer, and Company Commander for Air Det, Bravo, Echo and Charlie Companies. In 2012 he deployed to Afghanistan as Detachment 04 AOIC and Operations Officer in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. In 2016 he deployed with NMCB ONE as the OIC for Det Kuwait operating in various countries in the CENTCOM AO executing combat service support for Army SOF Task Force Operations and Operation Inherent Resolve. He then reported to Naval Construction Group TWO (NCG2) as the Reserve Augment OIC in 2018. In 2018 he returned to active duty under the Canvasser Recruiter Program and was assigned to Navy Talent Acquisition Group Jacksonville serving as Division Officer for three Enlisted Recruiting Divisions and as the Officer Programs OIC leading all Active and Reserve Officer Recruiting Operations.
 
LCDR Clements reported to NMCB 22 in 2024 where he currently serves as the Executive Officer.
 
Naval Facilities Engineering Command experience includes positions as the Senior Land Surveyor and Cadastral Department Head, Real Estate Business Line; Cost Engineer and Civil Engineer, IPT Gulf Coast; and PME Branch Head, Public Works NAS Jacksonville. He has also served as a member of the NAVFAC SE Disaster Recovery Team.
 
Lieutenant Commander Clements is a qualified Seabee Combat Officer, Level III Facilities Engineer, registered Professional Engineer and registered Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) in Florida. His Personal Awards include the Navy Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (x3), Army Achievement Medal, Navy Good Conduct Medal and various service, unit and campaign awards.
