Welcome to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5, the "Professionals!" We have a strong, solid leadership team and teamwork throughout the command. You are embarking upon one of the most rewarding and professionally fulfilling tours of your military career. NCMB-5 is the "Construction Force of Choice."
For those of you that are new to the Seabees, you will find that we are a proud, capable force. You will be amazed how the Seabees’ reputation for ingenuity and “Can Do” spirit are renown throughout the Department of Defense and the world. The Seabees have supported world-wide combat and contingency operations since 1942, building advanced bases and conducting humanitarian recovery missions. For those of you returning to the Naval Construction Force, you will find the Seabee legacy alive and well in NMCB-5. Every “Professional” takes pride in their contribution to building and enhancing the Seabee legacy.
