Master Chief Brian K. Bellefeuille


Master Chief Brian K. Bellefeuille, a native of Massachusetts, enlisted in the Navy as an Equipment Operator in March 2001. He holds an associate degree in Construction Technologies from Coastline Community College and is currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts program through Southern New Hampshire University. 
 
After completing Equipment Operator “A” School, he reported to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1, in Gulfport, Miss., where he completed four deployments and was advanced to Petty Officer Second Class. In his next assignment at Naval Recruiting District New England, Bellefeuille served as the recruiter in charge of Naval Recruiting Station North, Andover, Mass., and acting zone supervisor for Zone 3 and was promoted to Petty Officer First Class. 

After his recruiting tour, he fulfilled a one-year assignment to U.S. Naval Forces Central Command Forward Headquarters Kuwait. Upon completion of his assignment there, he reported to NMCB-74, where he selected as chief petty officer. He transferred to NMCB-1 where he completed three deployments before reporting to Naval Construction Training Center (NCTC), Gulfport. Bellefeuille was promoted to senior chief petty officer three months after reporting to NCTC and transferred to Naval Construction Group (NCG) 1 Det. China Lake, where he served as the officer in charge of the Mineral Products Training Platform. He then served as the company chief for Alfa Company and assistant officer in charge of Det. San Clemente Island at NMCB-5, completing two deployments and promoting to master chief petty officer.
 
Bellefeuille’s awards include the Navy Commendation Medal (four awards), Army Commendation Medal, Navy  Achievement Medal (five awards), and various campaign and unit awards.

He is a Peter Tomich Award winner and was the honor graduate for his class at the Senior Enlisted Academy.
