Mission

MISSION: NMCB FOUR is a combat-ready engineer force that provides multi-discipline engineering units in response to Combatant Commander (CCDR) and Navy Component Commander (NCC) requirements IOT enable Distributed Maritime Operations (DMO) lethality and maritime sustainment throughout USINDOPACOM.

WE WILL ENABLE THIS MISSION BY ADHERING TO THE FOLLOWING PRINCIPLES:

CHARACTER: Character attributes founded on the Navy's Core Values and consistency with the Core Attributes are the most important contributors to our warfighting effectiveness. Our actions, both on and off-duty, represent the world's finest Navy. We will always: Do the right thing because it is the right thing, and tell the truth. Forthright transparency at all levels creates trust, which is essential to our success.

PEOPLE: The individual Sailor is the Navy's most important asset. This command could not function without the individual Seabee, and the Seabee could not be successful without the support of the command. Every member in this command is responsible to foster an environment that is inclusive and founded on respect for one another, regardless of rank or background, where everyone is valuable and credible.

READINESS: It is the responsibility of everyone to ensure that they and their subordinates are ready at all times to build and to fight in our Nation's conflicts. We will maximize every opportunity to perform "sets and reps" that prepare us for our mission so we fully develop our warfighting capability. Our gear must always be fully accounted for and meticulously maintained.

PRIDE: Working in a high functioning team is fun and rewarding. Be aggressive, be proactive, and enjoy your job and take pride in advancing the mission of the Seabees and being a member of our Nation's finest military engineering force.
