
LCDR Daniel R. Eldred
LCDR Eldred is a native of Appleton, WI. He received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin at Platteville in 2009 and commissioned through Officer Candidate School. He holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Arts in Defense and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College.
His assignments include Resident Officer in Charge of Construction at Travis Air Force Base, CA, as an Assistant Resident in Charge of Construction; Naval Mobile Construction Battalion FOUR where he deployed as the Officer in Charge of Det SOCAF and served as the Bravo Company Commander; Naval Special Warfare Group THREE as the Staff Civil Engineer; Commander, Navy Installations Command as the Base Operating Support and Energy Action Officer, NAVFAC HQ as the Deputy Executive Assistant; and the Resident Officer in Charge of Construction in Darwin, Australia.
LCDR Eldred assumed duties as the Executive Officer of Naval Mobile Construction Battalion ELEVEN in May 2023.
He is registered Professional Engineer in the State of California, a member of the Defense Acquisition
Corps, a qualified Seabee Combat Warfare Officer, a qualified Joint Professional Military Education Level I Officer, and a member of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME). His awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (five), the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and the Army Achievement Medal.
