Lt. Cmdr. Daniel Bajor joined the Navy reserves in April 2011 in the Direct Commissioned Officer program. He holds a Master of Architecture degree and Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from Ball State University.
Following completion of Civil Engineer Corps Officer School (2012), LCDR Bajor reported to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 26 where he served as the Assistant Operations Officer and Detachment Indianapolis Officer-In-Charge until the command decommissioned in 2014.
He then reported to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 25 where he served as the Assistant Operations Officer, Legal Officer and Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear Officer. In 2018, he deployed with NMCB 25 in support of Operation Freedom’s Sentinel as Mission Commander and Officer-In-Charge for the Air Detachment Combat Service Support Alfa to U.S. Africa Command and U.S. Central Command, providing general engineering support to various Special Operations Task Forces..
LCDR Bajor reported to the First Naval Construction Regiment in 2020 where he served as the Current Operations Officer and Disaster Relief Tactical Operations Center liaison to the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force during Rim of the Pacific exercise 2022.
LCDR Bajor is a Seabee Combat Warfare qualified officer, registered architect in Indiana, and a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional. His personal awards include Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (three awards), the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal and various unit and service awards.
