Commander Felizia Goff
Executive Officer, Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron One


Cmdr. Goff graduated from The California Maritime Academy in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering Technology, minor in Naval Science, and Merchant Mariner Credentials as a licensed Engineer for Diesel, Steam, and Gas Turbine Engines (Unlimited Horsepower).  She earned a Master of Science in Engineering and Transportation Management from The California Maritime Academy in 2014.
 
In 2008, she served as Auxiliaries Officer and later the First Lieutenant aboard USS CURTIS WILBUR (DDG 54), in Yokosuka, Japan.  Returning to San Diego in 2011, she was stationed aboard USS PEARL HARBOR (LSD 52) as Auxiliaries Officer, completing her first Western Pacific Deployment.  From 2015 to 2017, she served as the Engineer Officer aboard USS DONALD COOK (DDG 75), in Rota, Spain.  During this time, she completed an Eastern Mediterranean and Baltic Sea Patrol in a heightened SIXTH Fleet environment.  Her final department head tour was completed aboard USS AMERICA (LHA-6) as Training Officer, for AMERICA’s Maiden Deployment.
 
Ashore, she served with Engineering Assessments Pacific as a Diesel and Gas Turbine Engineering Assessor; Expeditionary Strike Group THREE as Flag Secretary; Commander Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet as a part of the Commander’s Action Group; and Littoral Combat Ship Squadron ONE as the Chief Staff Officer and Reserve Program Director.
 
Cmdr. Goff currently serves as the Executive Officer for Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron ONE, in San Diego, CA.
 
Her personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (five awards) and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (three awards), along with various unit and service awards.
