Reporting to NIACT Fort Jackson
Navy Individual Augmentee Combat Training (NIACT) provides oversight of required pre-deployment combat skills training while delivering superior administrative processing, equipping, certification, and transport to theater for Navy Individual Augmentees (IAs) deploying for non-traditional expeditionary mission in support of Overseas Contingency Operations in CENTCOM and AFRICOM. NIACT also provides training to deployers enroute to assignment as SECFOR at Isa Air Base, Bahrain or to Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti base support billets (E6 and below) who will have collateral duty requirements as Auxiliary Security Force (ASF). Training consists of Courses of Instruction A-830-2216 (Navy Security Force Sentry/NSFS) and A-830-2217 (Security Reaction Force Team Member-Basic/SRFTM-B) which together comprise the qualifications of Security Reaction Force-Basic (SRF-B).
