Lieutenant Commander Jordan Bethke

Lieutenant Commander Jordan Bethke is a native of Lake Forest, California and attended the University of California, Berkeley, where he commissioned through the NROTC program. He later earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Davis.
Following successful completion of the Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal, Bethke reported to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit Twelve, where he served as a platoon commander and deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. He later reported to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit Six, completing a three-year tour as a Special Operations Forces platoon commander and deploying twice in support of the U.S. Southern Command.
Bethke subsequently served as the Officer in Charge of Explosive Ordnance Disposal Detachment Middle Pacific, where he led stateside EOD response operations in support of Commander, Navy Region Hawaii. After serving in executive leadership roles within the healthcare industry in the civilian sector, he returned to active duty and served as the Deputy Director of Readiness and Training at Naval Special Warfare Command and as an Executive Assistant.
Bethke holds the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Officer Warfare Qualification (KG5) and has screened for EOD Department Head. His qualifications include SCUBA, Mixed Gas Diving Operations (MK-16), Special Forces Advanced Urban Combat, Static Line Parachuting, Military Free Fall and Advanced Military Free Fall.
His personal decorations include the Navy Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and the Battle “E” Award.
