Master Chief Scott Weisenburg


Master Chief Weisenburg reported to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion THREE in August 2023 following a successful assignment as the Operations LCPO (N3C) for Navy Expeditionary Combat Forces Europe-Africa/Task Force SIX EIGHT.

Master Chief Weisenburg enlisted in the Navy in March of 2003 and completed Recruit Training in Great Lakes, Illinois. In July 2003, following the completion of Recruit Training, he graduated BU “A” School training in Gulfport, Mississippi. His first assignment was to Naval Mobile ConstructionBattalion 133 in August 2003, where he completed deployments to Okinawa, Whidbey Island, Andros Island, and Guam. During this tour, he was promoted to Third, Second, and First Class Petty Officer. After a successful first battalion tour, he reported to Navy Recruiting District Denver in July 2009. It was during this tour he was selected to Chief Petty Officer. In 2012, he volunteered for a 12-month IA assignment and reported to Camp Lemonier Djibouti, Africa where he served as the Public Works Department (PWD) Production Division and Self Help LCPO. In 2013, after completion of his IA tour, he reported to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion ONE where he served as Assistant Officer in Charge (AOIC) for Detachment Yokosuka and Air Detachment Operations LCPO during the following homeport. It was during this tour he was selected to Senior Chief. In July 2015, he reported for a 12-month unaccompanied tour as the Senior Enlisted Leader for Public Works Department Diego Garcia. His follow-on assignment was back to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion ONE, where he served as the AOIC for Detachment Bahrain and the Battalion Operations LCPO (S3C) during the 2017-19 FRTP cycle. Following a successful S3C tour, he reported to Navy Personnel Command in April 2019 serving as the Seabee Placement Coordinator and it was during this tour he was selected to Master Chief.

Master Chief Weisenburg holds an Associates of Arts in Construction Management, is a graduate of the Command Master Chief/Chief of Boat Course, and U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (Brown Group) Class 200. He is Seabee Combat Warfare, Expeditionary Warfare, and Information Warfare qualified. His military decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy Commendation Medal (5), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (9), Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal (2), Battle “E” Ribbon (2), as well as many other unit and campaign awards.

Master Chief Weisenburg is married to the former Tosha Morgan of Rawlins, Wyoming. They
have three children, Justin (27), Austin (25), and Eve (23).
